She is also the author of the chapbooks Burn Down Your House (Milk & Cake Press, 2021) and Love Letters to The Revolution (American Poetry Journal, 2020). Luna Luna Magazine named her one of '5 Poets of Color to watch in 2021' alongside Chen Chen and Amanda Gorman. Báez is the author of Yaguarete White (Univ. Arizona, 2024). A fellow at CantoMundo, the Surge Institute, and the Poetry Foundation’s Incubator for Community-Engaged Poets, Báez has served on the boards of the National Book Critics Circle, the International David Foster Wallace Society, and Families Together Co-operative Nursery School.</p>
