Event Name: Dark Web Awareness Event Event Locator: 2025-AASXST Event State: Confirmed Organization: Student Engagement The Kappa Theta PI ( Professional Technology Fraternity) is hosting This presentation seeks to educate people on the dark web, explaining how cybercriminals utilize it to trade stolen data, illegal goods, and engage in malicious activities, while also providing strategies to protect personal information and mitigate risks associated with potential dark web threats; often including information on best practices for online security, recognizing phishing attempts, and utilizing dark web monitoring tools to detect compromised data.
